There’s a difference between being told what to do and having the space to explore your options. Oftentimes, teams feel stifled or unimaginative because they haven’t had the opportunity to share their ideas and think outside the box.
What we’ve discovered, as team leaders and ministry workers, is that a healthy, functional team is one that hears all of its members, and that isn’t against trying and testing something new and undone. Not only does this boost the morale of your team, but it also enables you to take your team, and your organization, to the next level!
Hub4Innovation Workshops
A major way that we bring this idea to life as the Hub4Innovation is through workshops. Workshops are an incredible format where learning and education mesh with conversation and exploration. We bring our knowledge and expertise as leaders and innovators, but our goal and purpose is to listen and guide your conversation.
By asking the right questions, stimulating new, big ideas, and creating a space where nothing is off the table, we aren’t just helping your team brainstorm. Rather, we are guiding you through the process of developing an innovative, fresh, expansive idea.
Standing still and putting one’s head in the sand isn’t the solution we need. There are a lot of churches, organizations, and teams that revert to doing things the same as they’ve always done them. Whether it’s fear, lack of inspiration, or comfort, we may never know, but we do know that the world is moving forward, with or without us.
The only way to stay relevant and have our voice be heard is to pay attention to the needs and wants of the communities we are trying to serve, and create new ways to execute our mission.
This doesn’t mean that you have to sell your soul, or do things that don’t align with who you are as a team or organization. What it does mean, though, is that you don’t let yourself stay stuck. You don’t let yourself get into a habit of doing something that no longer serves you or your community.
With a Hub4Innovation Workshop, you have the opportunity (and a safe space) to dream big and have major breakthroughs with your team. Our goal isn’t to tell you what to do, but to help you discover what the communities you serve are in desperate need of, and formulate a new way to meet that need.
